The subfolder ''canon'' is meant for pictures taken with the Canon DSLR, the subfolder ''CCD'' for pictures taken with the SBIG cameras. Both directories contain subdirectories for the objects observed, e.g. ''M42''. The directories should be globally writable, so put your new pictures in the corresponding subdirectories or create a new one.
